Nick Adams is a former operator who helped drive over $1.3 billion in exit value across software companies before becoming a VC, and he applies a sports-derived "defensive rebounds" philosophy where he handles unglamorous operational work so founders can focus on product and selling. He co-founded Differential Ventures with a specific focus on B2B, data-first seed companies, partnering with ex-Renaissance Technologies' David Magerman to rigorously evaluate AI/ML methodologies and separate genuine technical depth from marketing claims.

Tom Driscoll

Tom Driscoll is a principal at Differential Ventures, the early-stage fund whose managing partners are Nick Adams and David Magerman and which invests in AI, enterprise software, fintech and cybersecurity companies. Before joining Differential, Driscoll was a strategy manager in Samsung's Consumer Electronics Division, where he led business model innovation projects for the Home Entertainment, Home Appliance and B2B/B2C Display businesses. Prior to Samsung he was on the business operations team at Latch, where he drove the company's growth strategy through its billion-dollar public listing. He began his career in Lenovo's Global Future Leaders rotational development program, working in service delivery operations, sales operations and product marketing. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in English studies and a minor in corporate strategy.
