She pioneered a place-based, community-first investing approach by moving to Hawaii to learn how to transition an entire island economy from fossil fuels to renewables, then scaling that model from Hawaii to Asia-Pacific, California, and now all 50 U.S. states through deliberate partnerships with local nonprofits and community organizations as core infrastructure for tech deployment.
