About Alexandria Lafci
Alexandria Lafci grew up in Section 8 housing and co-founded New Story, a Y Combinator-backed nonprofit that delivered thousands of sub-$8,000 homes across Latin America and used her operator experience to source and partner with ICON to create the world's first 3D-printed affordable housing community in rural Mexico. At Hometeam Ventures, she brokers pilots between early-stage construction-tech startups and mission-aligned partners like governments and nonprofits to give founders real jobsite experience under tough conditions, while positioning herself as an impact co-designer who sits around the table early enough with founders to hard-wire affordable housing use cases into for-profit construction-tech companies.
