About Ben Kortlang
Ben Kortlang is a venture capital investor at G2 Venture Partners who deliberately spun out from Kleiner Perkins during the cleantech winter of 2016-2017 when most investors were fleeing the sector, and has maintained continuous focus on climate and sustainable industrial transformation since the mid-2000s across Goldman Sachs, Kleiner Perkins, and now G2VP. He practices inflection point investing by spending months mapping entire sub-sectors and only backing companies once their technology is proven and customers love it, then uses his deep industrial finance background from Goldman Sachs to help climate hardware companies scale from $10M to $100M+ revenue toward IPO or strategic exit.
