About Scott Rupp
Moritz Baier-Lentz is a former professional Diablo II esports player who spent 6-8 hours a day competing in the early 2000s, giving him an inside understanding of what makes game systems engaging over long time horizons, and he built Goldman Sachs' global gaming and esports investment practice from scratch after recognizing gaming would become the world's top media category. At BITKRAFT Ventures, he has evaluated 300-400 gaming-and-AI companies in just a few years and uses his synthetic reality investment lens—the long-term blending of physical and digital life—to make highly selective bets across games, platforms, AR/VR, and creator tools while partnering with academic AI/ML labs to surface frontier ideas early.
