Clancey Stahr co-founded GoAhead Ventures as an undergraduate at Stanford in 2013 and raised their initial $6M fund in his early 20s by connecting his Stanford network with Japanese capital. He treats building the venture fund itself as his startup and has developed a distinctive video-first sourcing process that reviews 60-80 pitches weekly, aiming to give founders decisions within three days and signable agreements within 24 hours.

TK (Takeshi) Mori

Managing Partner, GoAhead Ventures

TK Mori, also known as Takeshi Mori, is one of three Managing Partners of GoAhead Ventures, an early-stage venture firm launched in 2014. He met Clancey Stahr, another of the firm's Managing Partners, in 2013 at a cafe on Stanford's campus, and the two worked together on investment projects including ZenShin Capital LLC and ZenShin Capital Partners II LP before deciding to launch GoAhead Ventures I in the fourth quarter of 2014. GoAhead is operated by three committed Managing Partners who met through their respective Stanford networks; the third, Phil Brady, met Stahr in a Stanford class in 2014 while researching the university's entrepreneurship ecosystem and was working at Andreessen Horowitz at the time the group came together.
