Andrew Boszhardt Jr. combines public markets experience from his time as a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman with hands-on angel investing, having personally backed over 200 technology and consumer startups across three decades before founding Great Oaks in 2003. He has established himself as one of the most active early-stage investors in New York's tech ecosystem while maintaining a unique commitment to investing in University of Wisconsin-Madison student startups, bridging coastal venture capital with his home-state university ecosystem.

Raj Sandhu

Raj Sandhu is a General Partner at Great Oaks Venture Capital, the New York seed-stage firm, where he has been an investor for more than two decades across more than 100 companies. Before Great Oaks he was a partner at the venture firms Athena Technology Investors and Madison Angels, at the private equity firm Chatterjee-Soros Group and at the technology banking firm Cowen & Co. He was also a co-founder, principal seed investor and chairman of Modulus Video, a carrier-grade MPEG-4 video compression company acquired by Motorola, and led it through its Series A financing. Sandhu started his career in software development and in product marketing and management at a startup. He holds an MBA from Harvard and a BS from Yale with a double major in computer science and economics.
