Martin Tschopp is chief executive of Prosus Ventures and leads a team of more than thirty across Amsterdam, London, Bangalore, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Fahd Beg is head of investments. The arm reports into Fabricio Bloisi, who became group chief executive of Prosus and an executive director effective 1 July 2024 after running iFood from 2019 to 2024 and founding Movile in 1998. Nico Marais is group chief financial officer and Koos Bekker is chairman. Regional and operating leadership includes Ashutosh Sharma as head of Prosus India, Diego Barreto as head of Latin America and chief executive of iFood, Roberto Gandolfo as head of Europe, Christian Gisy as chief executive of the OLX classifieds business, Anirban Mukherjee as chief executive of PayU, and Euro Beinat as global head of AI and data science.

Prosus Ventures invests from the balance sheet of Prosus N.V., a consumer internet group listed on Euronext Amsterdam and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, rather than from closed-end funds, so it carries no fund names, vintages or limited partners. Prosus N.V. was incorporated on 3 April 1997 and listed in September 2019 in a carve-out from Naspers, which remains its majority shareholder; the investment lineage runs back to the 2001 Tencent position, still roughly 22.996 percent of Tencent as of 17 July 2025. In its 2025 financial year the venture arm deployed more than $400 million across more than 40 closed transactions, of which $88 million went into artificial intelligence. The portfolio exceeds 150 companies. Corporate acquisitions sit alongside the venture book: Stack Overflow for $1.8 billion in June 2021, control of iFood for $1.9 billion in August 2022, Just Eat Takeaway.com for 4.1 billion euros in February 2025, and Despegar for $1.7 billion, closed in May 2025.
