Uncork raised its early funds under the SoftTech VC name. SoftTech VC III closed $55 million from 53 investors in January 2012 after a January 2011 filing at $35 million. SoftTech VC IV filed against an $85 million target in October 2013. SoftTech VC V closed $100 million from 40 investors in June 2016, filed alongside SoftTech VC Plus, a $50 million opportunity vehicle formed in 2015, and a SoftTech VC Breakout Fund I offering.
Under the Uncork name, Uncork VI and Uncork Plus II both filed in August 2019 and reported $97.5 million and $95 million sold. Uncork VII and Uncork Plus III filed in March 2022 and closed at $200 million and $202 million, from 65 and 68 investors respectively, in June 2023 amendments. The current program filed in May 2025: Uncork Plus IV reported $76.1 million from 50 investors, and Uncork VIII reported $225 million sold, with a July 2026 amendment raising the offering to $300 million. Jeff Clavier and Andy McLoughlin sign the offerings as executive officers.
