VC Tech 100
Claim your firm's VC Tech 100 row
A claim is free and identity-verified. Your firm is the subject of this research, not an advertiser in it, so correcting the record costs nothing — charging for it would make the record worse.
What a claim can change
- Confirm a cell. A firm confirming its own category is a primary source about itself, which is the strongest evidence class on the ladder.
- Correct a cell. Including telling us an observation is about a different entity with a similar name, which is the error class this dataset is most exposed to.
- Decline a cell. It renders as not observed, with a note that the firm declined to confirm. No inference is published in its place.
- Disclose your own tools. A vendor name you disclose renders on your row, attributed to you. This is the only route by which a vendor name reaches the page without a payment, and it is free on purpose.
What a claim cannot do
It cannot change another firm’s row, and it cannot move an adoption count except by changing your own cells — the counts are recomputed from the cells, which is the point. It cannot remove your firm from the panel: the panel is frozen and published, and a hole in a denominator would make every share on the page unauditable.
How to start
Claim the firm profile first — find your firm in the directory and use the claim link on its profile — and note in the request that it covers the Tech 100 row. Verification runs through the existing flow; the stack section is being added to it, and until then a verified claim is actioned by hand and logged in the correction log.
