Kelauni Jasmyn coined the vision of building a digital Wakanda for Black technologists and founders, operating as both a community builder who founded Black Tech Nation as a national network and media company and an investor who extended that platform into a formal venture arm. She came into tech and venture from a nontraditional path starting with a coding bootcamp and becoming a software engineer, giving her lived understanding of the hurdles underrepresented founders face, and has rooted her work in Pittsburgh to help position it as a hub for Black venture capital.
