Footwork is a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, CA founded in 2020.

We lead and co-lead Series A and Seed rounds, in companies with early signs of product-market fit. We typically invest between $1 and $15 million initially. We focus on consumer technology and the consumerization of enterprise technology. We're inspired by founders, and wake up every day excited to get to work with teams building the next generation of category-defining companies.Our equal partnership combines world-class investing and operating experience. We work daily out of our office in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco.Footwork launched in April 2021 with a $175M Fund I, and we began investing our $225M Fund II in 2025.We've invested in 23 companies as of Q1 2026, including Table22, Cradlewise, Trendsi, Portex, Heard, Felt, Power, ReflexAI, WindBorne, Watershed, Tracksuit, Honeydew, Benable, GPTZero, Elicit, Confido, Waldo, Snout, Protege, Anything, and several that are not yet announced.

The firm focuses on Seed, Series A investments across sectors including Consumer, Enterprise. The firm manages $55M in assets under management.
