Mary Meeker left Kleiner Perkins in September 2018 and established Bond in San Francisco. The debut fund raised $1.2 billion; the SEC Form D filed on April 24, 2019 for Bond Capital Fund, LP lists a $1.25 billion offering from 100 The Embarcadero, Suite 200, with Bond Capital Associates, LLC as general partner. The fund's first investment was a $70 million round in the design platform Canva in May 2019. Bond closed its second fund in March 2021 with $2 billion in commitments.
