Reece Chowdhry, Oliver Kicks and Jeff Chowdhry are the general partners. Hugo Hazon is principal, Robert Collopy is head of finance, and Anrea Munsamy and Kudei Sawyer Moses are associates, a seven-person core team.

The firm frames its selection process around deep dives with each member of a management team, run before any discussion of the business, and segments its offering by the kind of company it is backing rather than by sector: a scaffolded path for first-time management teams and a deliberately hands-off one for repeat operators. That operator emphasis extends to the LP base, which includes portfolio operators such as Michelle Lu and Kier Storey, both formerly PhD researchers at NVIDIA, Rob Underhill of Arondite and Felix Leuschener. Concept's stated position is that it invests before consensus and before traction, and its portfolio skews toward technical teams in voice AI, simulation, robotics and vertical AI applications.

Concept Ventures operates as Concept VC, a limited company incorporated in England and Wales under registration number 11110324 and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 939163, consistent with a 2018 start. The firm bills itself as Europe's largest pre-seed fund and states that its current fund is $88 million. It writes first checks of up to $1.5 million and takes only first-round positions, describing pre-seed as the point rather than a placeholder. Individual fund vintages and closes before the current vehicle are not disclosed.

Roughly 70% of the management teams it has backed have invested in the fund themselves, among them Mati Staniszewski of ElevenLabs, Ben Carr of Anam, Ash Mandavia of Sohar Health, Aneesh Varma and Nick D'Aloisio. The firm runs a same-day decision at investment committee and publishes a standard term sheet to remove negotiation from pre-seed rounds.
