Seraphim's space strategy launched in 2016 as the world's first venture fund dedicated to space technology, run from London by Mark Boggett, James Bruegger and Rob Desborough. The platform now spans three connected vehicles that cover a company from inception to exit.
The growth vehicle, Seraphim Space Investment Trust, listed on the London Stock Exchange in July 2021 raising 250 million pounds in gross proceeds, making it the first publicly traded space-focused fund. The early-stage side raised Seraphim Space Ventures II, which completed fundraising in 2024 above its $100 million target with nine investments already made and corporate limited partners among its backers. The Seraphim Space Accelerator sits underneath both, feeding pre-seed companies into the funds. Total assets under management now exceed $630 million. Portfolio and alumni companies have collectively raised more than $13.5 billion and produced nine companies valued above $1 billion and six public listings, including Spire Global and AST SpaceMobile.
