Each firm is scored on four weighted dimensions: AUM (40%) uses a log-scaled measure of total capital under management. Portfolio size (25%) rewards firms with proven deal flow. Stage diversity (20%) favors multi-stage platforms. Years active (15%) credits longevity and track record.
